The Nurture Collective
Nobody teaches us how to be well. We’re here to change that.
The Nurture Collective is a Community Interest Company created to help people build happier, healthier and more connected lives.
We believe wellbeing is something that can be learned. Yet many of us are expected to cope with stress, relationships, change and the pressures of everyday life without ever being taught the skills that help us do it well.
Our projects create welcoming spaces where adults, children and families can learn, connect, grow and thrive together.
What we do
The Nurture Collective creates opportunities for people to learn, connect and thrive. We design and deliver projects that help adults, children and families develop the knowledge, confidence and skills to support their emotional wellbeing throughout life.
Our work is built around a simple belief: nobody teaches us how to be well. We all face stress, change, relationships and life’s ups and downs, yet very few of us are ever shown the skills that help us navigate them. We’re here to change that.
Whether we’re running workshops, creating resources, developing toolkits or working alongside community partners, our aim is always to make wellbeing more accessible, more understandable and something that can be shared with others.
Thrive Together
Building Skills for Lifelong Wellbeing
Thrive Together is one of The Nurture Collective’s community wellbeing programmes.
Designed for adults, children and families, it offers welcoming, interactive workshops where people can explore topics such as understanding stress, improving sleep, mindfulness, confidence, self-compassion, healthy relationships and managing the pressures of everyday life.
The sessions are designed to be practical, relaxed and enjoyable. Rather than simply listening, participants are encouraged to explore new ideas, try different techniques and discover what works best for them.
As the programme develops, participants build their own personal Nurture Toolkit; a collection of ideas, reflections, resources and techniques they can continue using long after the workshops have ended.
Our vision
We want to help create communities where wellbeing is part of everyday life rather than something people only think about when they’re struggling.
Our hope is that the ideas people discover through our projects won’t stop with them. They’ll be shared with children, partners, friends, neighbours and colleagues, creating small ripples that gradually strengthen families and communities.
If we can help one person feel calmer, more connected or more confident, there’s every chance they’ll pass a little of that on to someone else. We think that’s how lasting change often begins.
Come and join us
The Nurture Collective is always keen to hear from people who share our vision.
Whether you’re interested in taking part in a future project, volunteering, partnering with us or simply finding out more, we’d love to hear from you.
