These Terms and Conditions apply to all training courses, workshops and events booked through this website.

Training is provided by The Children’s Wellbeing Centre.

Booking and payment

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Your place on a course is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and you have received a booking confirmation email.

Prices are listed in GBP (£).

Refunds, cancellations and transfers

If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply:

  • More than 14 days before the course: full refund
  • 7–14 days before the course: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before the course: no refund

Requests to transfer bookings to another date may be considered at our discretion and subject to availability.

Requests for cancellations or transfers must be made in writing via email.

Cancellation or changes by us

We reserve the right to:

  • change course dates, times, venues or trainers where necessary
  • postpone or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient bookings

If we cancel a course, participants will be offered:

  • a full refund, or
  • a transfer to an alternative date where available

We are not responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, including travel or accommodation expenses.

Online training

For online sessions:

  • joining links must not be shared
  • participants are responsible for ensuring suitable internet access and equipment
  • for the privacy of participants, recordings will not be made

Accessibility and inclusion

We are committed to providing accessible and inclusive learning environments.

Please contact us in advance if you require any adjustments, accessibility support or additional assistance.

We will make efforts to accommodate requests wherever possible.

Participant conduct

We aim to provide safe, respectful and supportive learning environments.

We reserve the right to remove participants whose behaviour is:

  • abusive
  • discriminatory
  • threatening
  • disruptive
  • inappropriate towards trainers or other participants

No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

Intellectual property

All course materials, handouts, presentations and resources remain the intellectual property of The Children’s Wellbeing Centre unless otherwise stated.

Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

Privacy

Personal information submitted through this website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Liability

While we take reasonable care in delivering our training and services, participation is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential losses
  • loss of earnings or business opportunity
  • technical interruptions outside our control

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Safeguarding and sensitive content

Some training may involve discussion of safeguarding, trauma or other sensitive subjects.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully and maintain confidentiality where appropriate.

Support signposting may be provided where relevant.
